Help with the questions a scam leaves behind

A careful review. An honest conversation.

Help after sending crypto to a scam

You sent the crypto. Now the answers have stopped.

The website looked real, the instructions seemed clear, and someone was there to reassure you. If that changed after you paid, we can help you review the transfers and work out what questions to raise next.

  • Your payment arrived, but the promised service did not
  • An exchange or investment website stopped responding
  • A withdrawal led to a demand for another fee
  • Someone repeatedly directed you to a new wallet address

Understanding your experience

Let’s look at what happened around the payment.

Sending crypto may have been new to you, or the request may have come from someone you trusted. Either way, we want to understand what you were promised and what happened after the transfer.

We match the payment details with the instructions you received and any account screens you saved. This helps distinguish what a website claimed from what the transaction record actually shows.

Those details may help with an exchange report, a complaint to the relevant authorities, or a discussion of legal options. Crypto transfers generally cannot simply be reversed, so we explain the limits as well as possible next steps.

01

Locate the payment receipt

Find the transfer in your wallet or exchange history. Save its reference, amount, date, and destination address.

02

Keep a copy of the website

Save the web address, balance screen, payment instructions, and any page explaining why you cannot withdraw.

03

Connect the messages to the transfer

Keep the conversation showing who requested payment, what it was for, and what they said would happen afterward.

04

Review where to raise the issue

We consider the providers involved, when the payment happened, and what you have already reported before discussing further action.

Finding the details that help

Save what explains your experience.

Missing a document does not prevent a first conversation. Keep the messages and files you have in their original form; we can discuss any gaps.

The payment you made

The transaction ID, public wallet addresses, type of crypto, network, date, amount, and exchange receipt.

The service you expected

Screens showing the offer, account balance, withdrawal request, website address, and any extra payment demand.

The instructions you followed

Messages and emails that directed the transfer, including the account or profile used to contact you.

Questions you may be carrying

A few things you may want to know.

Can you cancel the transaction for me?

A completed crypto transfer usually cannot be undone like a cancelled payment. Reviewing it may help identify reporting or legal options, but it does not give us control over the funds.

What if I do not understand the transaction details?

You can begin with your wallet or exchange receipt. We can explain which parts identify the payment without asking for your login or wallet recovery words.

Is it better to wait for the website to reply?

If you suspect a scam, stop sending money and contact your payment provider through a verified channel. Keep the records you have; you do not need a reply from the website to report your concern.
